I wouldn't compare WTCC specs to BTCC specs, though the BTCC Championship is based on Super2000 rules like the WTCC. The BTCC doesn't allow silly dispensations like they do in WTCC to equalise the field. ie, more power, rolling starts, flat floors etc the list goes on.

All the cars in the BTCC are set at the same weights, if the car's have varying power than another it is usually pegged back by way of a rev limiter. The race cars all carry equipment with which TOCA can monitor the power levels. ie telemetry.

If you want to find out more, you'll need to look up the homologation regulations for the S2000 cars. They should be freely available on the FIA website, bear in mind some of the FIA regs maybe altered slightly to suit the BTCC format.

BTCC Regs - http://www.btcc.net/html/regulations.php

There is a PDF to download on that page too with more regs info. Its does'nt make for light reading ;)
