Seat Media System 2.1 - is it "sat-nav"?

I'm picking up a new (to me) FR next saturday (yay!), which has the 'Media System 2.1' with "CD-based dynamic route guidance". Does that mean it's a sat nav or not?

DRG would imply that it uses some form of intertial sensors rather than GPS to get its position. Does it rely totally on sensors, or as well as GPS? If the former, I can imagine it might get out of whack after a while. What would happen if the car were transported; would it think it was still in the last place the wheels turned?

Does anyone have a PDF of the instruction booklet?

How many questions can I ask in a single post?

Dynamic route guidance means just that... Its dynamic!
It has a traffic button and can check ahead and divert if necessary. Still has GPS on the roof.
You can also have different 'dynamic' routes.

If it is a 2.1 then its also not CD based, its got a HD, DAB and Bluetooth Audio

can concur media system in new FR doesnt use a CD for sat nav.

though must say the nav instructions given have caught me out a couple of times as they are provided very close to junctions, so little reponse time.

also get on motorway and voice says

"travel on the motorway for a long time" mmmmmmm strange initial instruction

but as its touch senstive it is very impressive and syncs superb to my iphone

enjoy i do
