Well... almost.

Seeing as the weather was so nice today we though we'd take a pic of the 2 Ibiza's VR6's we have built

My VR6 Turbo is on the left, James newly finished VR6 is on the right.

They wernt clean i'm afraid as we'd be driving creativly for 50 miles or so beforehand.

What size are the brakes on the newer vr u've done? out of interest.... I see its 5 stud so have you just nicked the original golf ones ?

Both cars are running 5 stud mk3 golf stuff - James has the VR6 288mm brakes - although they look a little small in that pic for some reason. Mine has 330mm AP Racing set up, although its off the car at the mo and i'm strugling with the 288's!

in the sig... whats the mk1 golf, 2l 16v turbo engine from? is it a standard ibiza engine but turbo'd?

Nah its a bit of a one off that engine, all completly custom. Started life as an ABF block though.

True to form for me though its in bits at the mo - came to bits so the car could get some paint about a year ago and its been sat there since waiting for the time/money to do it. Got a bit sidetraked by the ibiza.....
