You cant get rid of yours. Yours looked amazing at the national meet. Bodywork was in great condition.

But if you ever decide to I will gladly take it off your hands.

aw cheers Craig, gotta knock the big fook off dent out of her soon and work out how to minimise the lacquer cracks where asses keep driving into her :( she'll never be rehomed though,i am a saddo who develops a deep emotional attachment to my vehicles....missed my mk2 golf GTI so much that after Springfest last year i had to buy myself another one....bad move, reminds me i really ought to get a readers ride thread going about her :D

I have a few dents etc to fix on mine. And some little rust patches on the bonnet. :(. You aint the only one. I have an attachment to my little 1.4 and dont really want to get rid of it. Think it is because it is my first car. Only time I will get rid of it is when it dies or if it rots away. Although I have none of the dredded rusty rear arches, no signs of that at all.

yours is a very nice example Craig and tbh i love the fact the mk2's are so few and far between, especially those that haven't been molested or neglected :) they may not be the fastest things about but we beat the Leon boys for individuality ;)

Track it - that's what I did to my Ibiza GTi 8v 5.5 years ago after I bought my Audi S3. I've had loads of fun and it is a sadness in heart that I'm going to be taking her off the road at the end of the month and then scrapping her once I've reused as many bits as I can.

It's not all bad news, though, I've got a 16v Cordoba SX to replace her with )

nooo you can't kill her off!
but if you do i'll buy a few parts :p (hahaha kidding really :D)

I enjoyed attending a few shows in my mk2 when I had it tidy, but the best fun I've had with it has been on track. You can have a tidy track car, just don't bin it ;)

Yep my 1.4 isnt the fastest thing about but it handles like and dream and is really fun to drive. Thats the reason I want to keep mine, the fact that there arent my of them about and not many people my age drive them. They all have the usual saxo's, corsa's, 106's etc.

suj, you're a fibber,you're not lying you're being a vulture ;) fair play though,don't ask don't get!

haha na i am actually good for parts at the moment
and all the bits i do need, he has got rid of (he has no interior lmao)
just some coilies now and i am good for a while :D

then i give it some boost :p from a t3 turbo :D

the only word i can think of is BOOM do not drive near my baby pleasew when this is done haha

and keep it its more that a car its a lean mean kiwi machine

only going to run it at 0.8 bar max with stacked gaskets. would be fun to watch it go from kiwi yellow to oil black :D

haha you chnaged or cleaned your rust filter yet i recond airflow restriced your power lol

turbo this one to see how its going to fit before blowing up a new one. manifold 130, turbo 150, downpipe 100, intercooler 80, oil cooler kit 150, head gaskets 60. bout 700 for brand new bits. 2nd hand alot cheaper. still cheaper than supercharging.
