Service Interval

Hi, does anyone know what the service interval is on a new Ibiza SC 1.4 (petrol)?

I'm looking at a 58-reg vehicle with 9k miles and I'm not sure how much history it should have.

Hey mate, as far as I know all new ibizas are every year or 10k whichever is sooner. No variable servicing. So if it was September 08 say shud have been serviced September 09 and September 10. So is say twice up to now if done by the book!

every 10k or every year...whichever comes first. the year is determined by what date the car was registered

Said car turns out to have no recorded history whatsoever.

Do I run away....or take a gamble with it and get the first service done ASAP?

Shame as its taken a month for one to come up with the spec I want :/

May have a problem with warranty claims if the service intervals have not been met.

Is it at a dealer? It should have had it's first annual service some time ago, and yes it could cause an issue with warranty.
