Hi everyone

Bought a couple of months ago the version you can see on my signature and now I want to DIY the oil/all filters change.
I'll go for Bosch manufacturer as for the three filters and the Castrol Edge LL 5W30 oil. Is this a good choice?
Regarding the oil service interval, should I always do it within 15.000km or 1year, whichever first?

About the DSG oil change, I also wanna do it asap but on a garage. What should be the service interval on this one?

Thanks for your help!
Cheers

Should be fine. The more often oil can be changed is better. The brand less important providing it meets specifications. Schedule should be in the manual.

Air/Oil/Pollen filters used and sold by VW Group, tend to be Mann, I don't think that Bosch manufacture filters, probably they just re-brand them, just like VW Group do.

I always replace oil and oil filter once a year, especially on a car that runs/covers a maximum of 8,000miles a year.
Castrol is just brand that VW Group struck up a partnership once a long time ago, plenty other brands that might even provide same or better "engine protection per £". Making sure that whatever brand of oil you use is fully compliant to the relevant VW Group spec for your car is very important. I tend to use Mobil One, but there are many others out there. There can be a difference between an oil that fully complies with the correct VW Group oil specs, and one that hopes or aims to meet or exceed that oil spec.

Regarding your DSG oil - you have a dry DSG so oil changes are less important than the WET DSG's.
