I just removed the silencer (the box in the middle) on my car and I was wondering if it's possible to re install it? I haven't really done this before, and it sounds good from the outside of the car, but inside the cabin it sounds too loud between 2k-3k RPM I'm not sure if it's droning or whatever it's called.

My real question is will I get the same original sound which I had before removing it? Or does it get messed up somehow after re installing the silencer?

Surly as you removed it - assuming you didn't use a gas axe- you just fix it back in the reverse order you removed it ?
Or did I miss something

As for sound, as long as any joints are gas tight, it will sound just like it did originally:)

Didn't use a gas axe, yeah I guess it should be fine, thanks mate :)

I really hoped it would sound good without too much drone.

Was going to get this done on my Cupra but one thing I don't want is drone. This has me concerned.

I don't know about the Cupra but for the 1.8t drone is too much (Atleast for my liking).

If I remember correctly I've read somewhere on the forum some have already removed it on their Cupras and had good results.
