Thanks for the reply Atlantia
Am yes, I think mine is the same colour as yours
It will be if yours is standard.

I think all the 1.4 / cupra colour silver on mk3 is the same.

So am I right in calling it "LS7N"

Well anyway thanks again for replying :)

Your welcome mate, I needed something to do while I waited to sober-up after a night of losing at pool. :(

I'd have thought that the code would include the 'L' but the thread I mentioned lists the colours minus the letter at the beginning, so 'S7N'.

Might be worth making a note of the few shades and having a look at some spraycans? They look deceptively alike to me.

As for the mirrors.... I'd agree go with the two small ones for pure looks, but then again.... the safety conscious-driving miss daisy-old git in me thinks go for the two BIG ONES!

May slow ya down a bit, could be useful airbrakes?

Cheers but I kinda like the weirdness of the standard look (I'm old though)

Have you ID'd the paint shade of yours? If you havent got the service book, then have a look under the carpet in the boot and you should have a label there too.

This is the one in my servicebook, I think the one in the boot has more info, but the codes are essentially in the same places.

razor some body said on here if you put the item on german ebay into you watching items and log back on uk ebay it translates it for you! i not sure as i have not tryed it yet though lol.

You'll need to trawl through as some auctions are just for parts of the mirror assembly etc by the looks of it.
German sellers are a bit unwilling to ship outside Germany at times, so ask questions before you bid. Use this translator if you need to:
http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_txt

Here are the results for seat ibiza mirror: 'seat ibiza Spiegel'

If you just want to see the ones that probobly have specified that they'll ship outside Germany and have paid for international visibility then do the same search on ebay uk and specify worldwide. Thats returning these results:
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/items/__seat-ibiza-Spiegel_W0QQLHQ5fPrefLocZ2QQ_flnZ1QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em283

I'm seeing stubby ones on buy-it-now starting at about £30 by the looks of it.

It'll translate a couple of bits, like the standard information about the listing, the current price will be shown in Euros and GBP etc. But it wont translate the actual body of the description or title, so you have to use a bit of babelfish too.
