Slick 50

When i used to drive my focus rattle box i always used to add slick 50 to make her run abit smoother was just wondering is it safe to use in a 150PD due to the funny oil etc. cheers if anyone knows.

I heard that many of the modern synthetic oils already contain these sort of additives (Slick 50, STP, Wynns) Not sure how true this is?

I have added these type of additives to previous PETROL cars I have owned, not to quieten the engine but to prevent general wear.
Personally I wouldn't add any of these to a diesel engine.

Sock is right dont add slick 50 to a pd engine, you may regret it!
