Slight vibration at around 2000rpm?

Not always, but 2 in the last 4 drives* EDIT (2 in 5 times...typical it won't do it now), my Leon FR 1.8TSI produces a low volume "buzz" or "vibration" from what I can only describe sounds like it is coming from under the steering wheel.

I first thought the obvious, check all the compartments for bits and see if anything was causing it by rattling. Nope. Seconds, "press" on parts of the dash, the plastic dials covers, door covers, windscreen etc to see if it was a compartment vibration. Nope. Third was see if it was driving conditions, road, temperature etc. Nope.

So now I am at a loss...will need to post a video if and when it happens again but what do we thing it could be? It happens precisely around the 2100-2400rpm mark, it is consistently there, it goes away a little below and a little above this number (say 2000- and 2500+), it is not a loud sound, it almost to best describe it sounds like part of the interior is vibrating under the wheel but holding and pressing and touching to no avail, it can be "felt" slightly when pressing on the lower plastic below the wheel but not through the wheel per say.

Any ideas? Will try to get a video sound recording up if i can catch the nosie again.

Oh and, only mods are a k&n filter i've had for about 1500 miles and just recently a revo turbo muffler straight pipe mod to replace the turbulent stock piece, fitted by vah specialists @ Unit20 Neston.

EDIT 1

Here is the noise and what I mean, did it on the way back from work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEKY-6gK6rs&ab_channel=dramen

Ignore the other taps and rattles that's just the road surface on and off. May need to turn the bass down a bit, but in the first 45 seconds you should be able to hear this buzzing/vibration sound that is ongoing (which is ofc more noticable when you are actuall there, my phone doesn't pick up the audio that well, but well enough!). Then when i go slightly slower, or slighty quicker over the first 50 or so seconds of the video you can here it fade in and fade out respectively. Quick correction on rpm, it's happening around 2100-2400 rpm and is no present over or under this number. What could it be?

Bump

Added video to OP, finally got a clip, should be audible, ignore other rattles, just listen to that buzzing sound that comes and goes across the first 50 seconds of the video, THAT'S the sound that i can hear.

Is this model fitted with the fake sound generator? Other than that, try the rear view mirror, some on here reported that vibrating.

Both nope, mines a 2016 model so it doesn't have it (cars sounds the same in full throttle in any mode) and it's not the RVM, it's coming from below the steering wheel and underneath/towards the engine area which is where I recoded the video.

It's sounds enginey, like maybe something is lose like a panel or a plastic part or something like that, only seems to happen one in ever 2 or 3 longer journeys when car is well warmed up.

Some one suggested to me that the "whisp" sound from the engine over 2000 rpm, and down again could be a slight misfire? But man, for a 10 month old car that sounds pretty ridiculous tbh. As for the vibration, some one else suggested it could be something to do with not tight enough screws on the intake lol which to be fair i did leave one out due to being a pain in the arse to put back in (need a better torx screw!) but now i've put it in and fully tightened all the screws, tonight to and from work will have to see if that has resolved it. What an odd thing for it to be if true...

Kraken did you get anywhere with the noise, mine a 16 plate 1.8 has just started making the same noise, seemed to start doing it when the engine got a bit hotter.

Mine does the same, still under warranty. Complained about it last 3 times car was to the dealership and still not sorted...
I got the feeling they know what it is, cause once someone slipped "...dash out" and another time they said I need to make a video so that Seat can approve a warranty repair...

Just been having a Google about could possibly be the fuel line rattling under the car, think it's a possibility, window down can't hear it and window up can so don't think it's directly connected to the engine.
