I got pretty good all season tires (225/40R18) but i will be going snowboarding in a month, in france there are roads that by law might require snow chains, so i decided to buy something just in case, but i am having trouble figuring out what will work
this is from the user manual and the current size is not even listed as supported so the car is considered "unchainable"

Anyone has ideas on what can be a good option? Snow socks are possibly an option but i don't like how fragile they are.

It is not by tire size, you can have a chain that fits your tire, but does not fit the car (wheel arch size, suspension spacing, brake spacing etc.)

How about these,? These are legal in France instead of Chains (and you dont end up ripping your hands apart fitting them :))

As I said in the initial msg, I was considering them, however they are not as durable (couple of KM on non snowy parts of the roads and they are toast).
I bought a pair of socks anyway as I could not find a reliable way to know which normal chains will work with the cupras lowered suspension.
