Yes you can snow foam the car then pressure wash it off, it won't be as good as a hand wash but will still clean the car pretty well. Snow foam does not strip wax, it has been tested by many people, including myself.

what do people do after covering the car with snow foam?
rinse with hose
or
pressure washer (i've not got one), but i know if you use the spray attachment it would foam with the mixture, so what do people do if using a pressure washer to rinse (as you don't want a too power ful jet spray)
or
wash down with wash mit and then rinse?

I ordered some of this from autobrite yesterday and bought myself a pressure washer from Wickes. Was planning on snowing the car, pressure hosing off then using the two bucket method to wash as normal.....sound about right?

RobDon - Cheers. Good to know it wont strip the wax. What I was thinking is in the summer, it's generally just dust, bugs and the odd bit of crap here and there on the car. So it would be nice to be able to just foam and pressure wash the car each week as a quick way of cleaning it. I know it wont ever replace a proper wash, but as a quick way of making it look pretty again, I'm hoping it will work!

^^^ IT does work.


Mine gets a pre soak of Chemical guys citrus wash and left to dwell, then the Snowfoam through a gilmour, leave for 5-10 mins then rinse off, any bits like the bottom of door get a wash with 2 buckets depending on how bad they are.

Wheels also get donewith snowfoam and citrus wash.

Dry it with a Microfibre towel.

Job done...

I just use the Karcher Detergent Bottle, good enough, but apparently the Karcher Lance at £50 is the dogs danglies !

I had a go with this stuff today. I used it with the Karcher detergent bottle and I have mixed feelings.

It did a good job. The car wasn't tooo dirty, but had a bit of dust and grime over it. The Autobrite snow foam got rid of a lot of it straight away and then made cleaning the rest very easy. Took 30 minutes to do the entire car. From that point of view, I like it.

But it didn't look anything like I was expecting. It was just soapy water with lots of bubbles, not very snow like. I do wonder if the Karcher addon lance would make it better, but not sure to be honest.

The Karcher bottle isn't the best for producing good foam, I had one. The Gilmour foam gun or the Autobrite foam lance produce tons of foam, the lance being by far the best, produces shaving foam!

£45ish for a lance that connects to existing Karcher gun.

And some snow foam thrown in - looks to do the job rather well.

This is me using the Gilmour foam gun and snowfoam:

And this is using the AB foam lance, which I now use after selling the Gilmour!

The basic purpose of a foam gun is a pre-wash, foam the car and let it dwell for a few mins to loosen off all the dirt, then wash your car as normal.

might be getting a pressure washer for my birthday soon

so looking at local BnQ, there's quite a few basic ranges which seems like it does the job and some come with just a pressure was adaptor and some come with a foam gun. so adding snowfoam through this, would it give the above results or is it best with an aftermaket adaptor with a bottle on the end?

had a go with the autobrite snow foam in my wickes pressure washer on the weekend...it creates quite a nice foam at first but empties the detergent bottle after about one panel

by the time i'd refilled the detergent bottle al the foam was drying up on the original panel....after i pressure washed everything off i didnt bother toweling as i was only really playing with foam and pressure washer, now ive got water marks all over my car!

she's gonna get a really good clean and polish this weekend tho!
