Hi all

So this morning I placed a deposit on an 11plate Leon FR 170bhp :)

It replaces my MK1 FR TDi 150 bhp as has it a while now and fancied an update.

Two questions, it has a square front number place, I want to put my own private plate on which is normal size, would this just stick on? Asking because wasn't sure if there was a different mounting back plate for the squares ones?

It also has rear parking sensors, but not front :( can I get the front proper flush ones fitted and connected up to show on the display? It has the touch screen 2.1? NAV but didn't see a display come up when put it in reverse?

Oh and finally, can I fit a proper OEM arm rest? it has a the heated leather and suede interior :)

Cheers

CB

Mines a 12 plate with rear parking sensors but not the front either and to me don't really need them, you,ll have to up date the nav for what you want and yes you can fit oem arm rest to your car see Dave at sere motors on here

The square plate will be aftermarket, they come with normal plates as standard. Just a case of sticking/screwing your private plate on.
I don't know if you can retrofit front sensors, but I don't find them particularly useful on my Cupra.

Thanks lads

Should there be a CD for the NAV? It seemed to be working so may be in the player already?

Yes there should be a nav CD but it's easy to transfer it onto SD card (I just bought a cheap 4GB one) - leaves the CD player free if you ever need it

Thanks, would the cd usually be stored in the cd drive on the dashboard or in a case?
