According to this article SEAT's president Andreas Schleef has commented that they will be producing a newer Alhambra based on the new VW Sharan

First impressions of the VW is I hope SEAT Add a Leon/Altea/Toledo style front end and make the back end say 5 inches (thats all I ask!!!!) longer; enough to get shoppping in when you are fully loaded with seven passengers.... As thats my only major issue with the Bammer currently.//

jeez we can see who wears the trouser in your house! :D you go shopping :p
you seen the new Galaxy? from the spec sheet it's bigger than the earlier models, larger boot space with all three rows of seats in! more space for the passengers! but if your over four years of age or four foot tall your screwed if you go any distance in the rear row!
the joys of fold flat seating [:@] the way of the future

Hmmm well thats a no no then.... FLAT Seating Blah.... - my older kids chill in the back with there psp's / ipods with the younger two in middle .... So if Seat is reading this... I hope you do an opion of flat seating... other wise forget it!!

re the Galaxy - dont like it... Modern Ford for me has been Yuck for years on the style.. only the Fast ST Focus is sometime I take a longer look at but only for a mo..

hi

i'm new to the forum so i'm just saying hello, in the lastest edition of what car mag, they state that there will be a new alhambra coming out in late spring (page 51)

what sort of discounts do dealers give when off loading 'run out models' when they are introducing the more up to date versions of cars. i dont what to make assumptions on how the new alhambra will be like..... but there is a good chance that they may follow the flow and introduce some type of fold flat seating system.

for my too energetic off spring, i would prefer the more solid seats of the current model. has anyone heard any more/got insider knowledge about this up coming alhambra?

why? 4x4 one will probably die on its arse and be even more popular with the taxman :censored:

101 different 4x4 imports as jeeps and add the quirky jap vans that no one can get bits for :) recipe for disaster - people only buy em cos they cant afford the usual mpv's

DON'T ever join Renault - they have 2 (Espace & Scenic) you'll know the MPV guy at the french franchise - they are always sweating and have no knuckles :cartman:

hi stu,

thanks for the info, i appreciate that. i'm looking forward to seeing what they change/keep.

i viewed the cit' c4 grand picasso the other week, very sleek looking but next to nothing legroom for the driver (if you are tall) and the rear seating(last row) is only good for child under 3 . their brochures state that you can seat 7 adults....they failed to mention that is the case only when you are transporting 7 pygmies lol
