Soapy Shampoo?

Hi,

Having recently ran out of car shampoo, I am looking for some better stuff.

Most of the car shampoos I have used tend to turn the water bubbly and full of suds. However, when I put it onto the wash-mitt and wipe onto the car, it's almost as if I am cleaning the car with water and rubbing the dirt in, as oppose to cleaning it off.

I have tried all sorts of car shampoos, all different price brackets and to be honest, some of the more exensive stuff has been the worst.

I want something that stays soapy and does a good job. Any recommendations???

Megs Gold Class Shampoo is great stuff (£14 from Halfords for a big bottle)

far better than the Turtlewax/Autoglym I'm currently using, which do exactly the same as you've described

New Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild is getting good reviews.

Not cheap though!

I have heard from the great vine that HYPERWASH is the same stuff as gold class just slightly different colour.

Its not Goldclass, thats for sure...


I'd say its better than NXT, its much less greasy too, NXT can leave a film on if not rinsed off correctly, so I found.

Try Car-Lack 68 Shampoo from cleanyourcar.co.uk

I have been using it for past couple of months, it foams pretty good and its very very very luby, much more than gold class. Its cleaning ability is good and leaves a good shine BUT i dont think the shine it leaves is as good as megs gold class.
