I know there are already a lot of threads regarding software on this forum but just wanted to open one which we all can use for sharing experience on different kind of versions.
My issue right now, bought my Formentor 2/3 months ago and in the beginning, I had a lot of issues regarding connecting the “MyCupra” to the car, managed to fix it myself (Dealer was not that fast) by resetting the infotainment system and having a lot of patients during the whole process. (also had to do the reset a couple times)
Currently I have the version A896, and everything works fine (no weird issues yet, excepts the system is sometimes slow (mostly using Android Car) I don’t receive OTA updates now.
I have seen a lot of posts about others, which have version 1899, 1940, 1969 and have weird issues so I’m not sure if I need to stick with this version and just wait until the car will ping for a new version because in my case everything works fine for now.
Anyway, a buddy of mine also drives a Formentor with 1899 version and today he received the version 1940. (will hear from him what his experiencing is with that)
