Underneath the Leon on the drivers side towards the middle of the car thers a rectangle metal panel with ridges in it. Anyone know what it is or does. There seems to be 2 pipes going into it and its quite hot wen I turned the car off. Anyway I noticed a noise coming from underneath the car an I found a bolt to be broken off on this. Anyone had the same problem?

Yeah that's the fuel cooler best get it secured back into place and make sure none of the fuel pipes ate kinked or it will all end in tears.
We had a vw at work that had a kinked fuel cooler pipe which caused the car to go on fire.
You'd wonder how a diesel would go on fire due to a fuel restriction but that's what happened.

Thanks people. Cable tied it up this morning. Goin in the garage on Monday because the bolt is welded on to the floor of the car
