Hi

When replacing rear light bulbs I noticed what looked like clear plastice bags filled with black foam, inserted betwwen the outer skin of the car and the interiour trim of the boot covering the rear wheel arches. Seems to be soundproofing. Did not try to pull it out as it may not go back. The is space for more to be fitted and would like to add some. Anything that kills tyre noise would be welcome.

Would anyone know the part number? Cost?

Hi

Would still like to know the part numbers, if they are not to much to buy the are a few other places that would benefit from xtra soundproofing. :).

Tbh, the aftermarket sound deadening will more that likely be better than the stuff seat provide with the car. Dynamat is good i've heard but is very expensive to do the whole car with. I used some bitumen type with foil backing from ebay on the floor plan, boot, spare wheel well and rear quarters (ibiza) and it's very effective.
