Spacers with standard wheels?

I am thinking of fitting 20mm front and 25mm rears! Will this be ok with standard speedline wheels?

Just remember to get longer bolts and check that the rear tyres don't protrude the rear arches at the top

Not sure if they will protrude? I may get 15mm front and 20mm rear to be safe.
Unless someone else has done this and can confirm. £60+ is a bit expensive if they don't fit right (or are illegal)

I run 20mm on my standard wheels pictures if you click my car below.

Mine bolt to the hub then you bolts the wheel to the spacer with the original bolts thus keeping your locking wheel nuts.

I've actually got 20mm on rears, bought longer bolts & locking bolts and all fine

Im running 12mm front and 15mm rear

Yeah I'd agree with 20mm max at the rear and maybe 15mm up front.

The 20mm one will catch as well but only with a full car and on big dips in the road lol.

Maybe on LCR wheels but not on LC180 standard wheels.

Why only go 15mm on the front? Surely it's better to keep the track of the car the same width, all be it 20mm wider?

The Leon has a wider track at the front as standard and this is why lost people go for bigger spacers on the rear to even it out.

Must admit mine doesn't need spacers up front they sit nice on the wings now it's the rear end which looks gay.....20mm I've brought for rears only
