Spare key for 2019 Leon, how?

I only have one key for my 2019.leon. I've no idea how to find the part/transponder ID etc.

How best can I find a spare key? Can I buy one with the RF chip in and use my existing key to code it? What do I need to look for? Maybe I need some programmer or device?
Or is it not possible?

The easiest option must be to go into your local SEAT dealership part's department and identify yourself as being the legal owner, then they will order in a new key. After it has been paid for and collected, you will need to book the car in to get the missing key "removed" from the car and this new car and the original key added back to this car.

Well you asked how to solve this problem and didn't give out any clues that you had an in depth knowledge of what a new key would exactly require, there are other ways to achieve what are trying to do, but they will come with some risk.

??Jeeez...and I really would.come.here if I didn't know a dealer could do this for £400+.

We learnt this the hard way about 15 years ago with a Golf that came with only one key, cost a fortune as only VW dealers could get the secure code. I've made sure ever since that there are two working keys when buying.
Timpsons say they can do at £300 but might not be much of a saving. If you only want an emergency 2nd key maybe the £99 option would do.
