2019 Leon 2.0 TDI DSG DQ381 - 175k - Help - Forward limp after 7 miles, reverse perfect
KE19 TLK - 175k - Bought March 2025 at 158k, done 17k.
Fault:
• Cold start revs capped 2-3k
• Drives 7 miles then no forward drive, just crawls in D/S/M
• Reverse perfect even in limp
• No DPF light
Done:
• Engine + DSG oil + filter genuine TPS - DSG oil came out BLACK
• Scanned IN LIMP at Car 2 Code Abbey Gate Leicester - ZERO gearbox codes, only N428 oil pressure regulation valve code
• Fault was there before oil changes and still there after
Going to Nass Tech tomorrow for hot pressure test.
Anyone had N428 strainer 04L115125 blocked cause torque limit that feels like gearbox limp? Or is black oil at 175k = K1 clutch gone?
