What I'm saying is your eyes are probably the best and cheapest form of camera detection. IMO speed camera detectors are no better than a person who is alert to his/her surroundings. I should know as I have one (and most days chose to leave it at home!)

My eyes are busy reading the roads, not looking for sneaky roadside camera's - I know where all the mobile camera spots are near where I live, but I sometimes drive further, I've found this detector more than useful already.

Not sure why you would want another device which only tells you where the cameras are and what speed you're doing when your existing TomTom does that and a whole lot more?

Did you not read the whole thread? I don't want to drive round with my TomTom all the time, apart from being ugly they are just easy money for a scummy thief to get his/her daily fix.

Not sure where you live but hard wiring a tomtom is a crazy idea, unless I got a buzz from having new windows put in my car.
