Hi,
This might be a silly question. For the life of me I can't work out how to set and speed limit on my new leon 2022.
Any help would be appreciated

You have to jump through hoops to do it (compared to most cars anyway It’s in the manual.

tried it today. I can't get the silly thing to work :(

My old astra was so much more simple to use. Starting to miss all those buttons

I don't think the handbook is the clearest explanation, I tried mine today and it works fine. Make sure you firstly set the assist option (in the dash centre status display) from Cruise Control to Speed Limiter. Then at the appropriate speed set the 'cruise control' - except this will now be the speed limiter (and shows LIM on the symbol) and all should be good. You can still change the speed limit like you would using the same cruise control settings. Changing via menu is a faff, previous non Seat vehicles I owned simply had the button on the wheel without having to go through any menus.

this is the issue, they’ve simplified the steering wheel to one button for both limiter and cruise, and in the process turned a two step process (where you barely need to look down) into a multi step process that needs you to navigate menus and use 5 different buttons around the steering wheel.

I currently drive a cupra leon 2024, which I imagine has the same controls as the Leon Mk4.
The question that I have about the speed limiter is the following: every time I start the car, the selected behavior is cruise control. So I have to manually set to speed limiter mode using the assist options. Then the speed limit works fine. But when the engine is turned off and on again the mode is changed to cruise control. Is that normal? Is there a way to have speed limiter enabled be default every time I turn on the engine?

My biggest issue with the limiter is that the car doesnt remember the setting you leave it in. I use cruise control on long journeys, but i prefer limiter in city centres/towns. But switching to limiter, turningbiff the engine, then starting it again, immediately swicthes back to cruise control. Because theres no quick switch, that means cycling through the menus to change it again, then cycling through the dash displays to get back to your preferred one. It’s a pain.

Did you ever find a way to resolve this? I cannot get mine to remain on speed limiter function.

Mine stays on speed limiter, don't think I've ever changed it to cruise control. Perhaps I shouldn't just in case the above happens o_O.

That's handy! As mentioned above, its so useful to have speed limiter in town or local area and cruise control for longer (motorway) journeys. It cant be rocket science to get it to default to one or the other but it has me stumped!
