Spur Garage Wimbledon forecourt closing

So, Spur Garage tell us they are closing their Wimbledon town centre forecourt and moving all sales to Hampton Court.

Shame. I only bought a SEAT because of wandering in there. I certainly wouldn't have driven down into the wilds of Surrey to look for a local dealer!

Their service and spares garage is still open, though. So that's a relief for those of us still under warranty.

Yes, they are not the cheapest, but we need local dealerships, folks.

The service centre isn't the cheapest that's for sure. They've take £££££ off me over the years and the quaity of work isn't great

Well, I'll have to stick with them until the warranty's out. I must say, they did some excellent bodywork repairs (paid for by insurance) . Have yet to put their mechanics to the test, though.

But my point was that a major town centre SEAT forecourt has just disappeared, and that's a pity.
