Square Plate vs Normal Plate pictures

Decided to post a little comparison, have to say though I stuck the normal plate back on. The square plate I had made up was just a bit big looking.

I've got a 3/4 normal plate on a btcc kit - think it looks ok;

still recon it'd look better with even less white space tho!

Did you get the 3/4 plate made up on the net? m not a big fan of the square either, as I said - I have the standard on.

Square plates look crap and should only be on trailers and motorbikes. Not cool at all and on the front, they look like buck teeth.

My 350Z import had square plates - I spent a small fortune getting a UK spec rear bumper so I could have a 'normal' plate... I agree re the buck teeth comments!

the normal size one looks better. you should get the height cut down a bit on it, looks better again!

Yeah I have a 3/4 plate sitting ready to go on tomorrow morning..

I have a square plate and after nearly twelve months - I agree - it looks crap and will be going back to normal tomorrow. By the way, if anyone has a black FR and has the silver wing miror caps fitted, do what I did today and swap em for Black - they look the bollocks! Also them kind fellas at David Cook motors in Oldham fitted them for free - the way they treat their customers is second to none.

It reminds me of the plate on the Alpha Romeo which is the normal plate set off to one side

This is what I have finally settled on! I think it looks rather well, lets hope it doesnt attract any attention from the law!
