recently ive had the windows down when drivin and ive noticed that at about 10-15 mph and turning right there is a squeaking noise. its on...off...on...off...on...of like something catching something thats warped, must be the brakes but its had a service not long ago and they said the pads were only 50% worn. does any1 know what it might be? it doesnt do it any other time apart from turning right even when braking?

thats a warped o/s/f disc 1 of my discs was like that and it got worse and worse and worse untill it was unbearable tryed copper slip cleaning and reasembling the brakes and it done jak so in the end i got some new disc's sorted :)

try removing the pads putting a little bit of copper grease on the back of them. then remove the discs and check them over see if they are visualy warped  replace all cleaned up and it could sort your problems out

or be a real student and leave it squeeking
if you change 1 side the other side needs changing to otherwise uneven braking occurs but a new set of front discs isnt alot of dollar
