Squeaky dampers?

So my car is coming up to three years old but it's been making this noise for a while.

When I go over minor bumps in the road, I can often hear a sort of squaky "TSSST" noise coming from the front (imaging that rhyming with saying pssst when you want to get someone's attention). It's very apparent when windows are down.

It doesn't seem to do it in the morning, perhaps when the car is damp but later in the day I do notice it more.

I'm not sure if the front dampers are leaking, misting, or quite what but as I just about still have warranty left was wondering if anyone can advise. I know this is likely to be an intermittent issue hard to diagnose, unless it's more obvious.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

I think I know the noise you are referring to, it's just shock absorbers being compressed. Had it with other cars as well.

It sounds like a pumping / pressurizing sound.

Yeah it's like that I guess but never had it on any previous car and I've had multiple cars, new and old. It never used to do it but has been doing it within last year or so. I guess I'll get it MOT'd and serviced prior to end of warranty and see what's what. I just know that if there's a fault with the dampers they often try to pass it off as misting/sweating when in reality it's the start of a leak.
