** Squeal - Throttle Off? **

Any ideas why I get a long 'squeal' especially down hill when I let off the throttle?

centre section? thats the problem ive got at idle my centre section on the exhaust has gone and it squeels (according to mechanic). when i press accelerator it goes away.

depends what squeel ...could be your clutch, does it happen when going fast on motorway etc?

Normally a squeal is a belt

could be the tensioner wheel on the v belt maybe? mine used to squeek lol.
