Squeekety Squeek

My back wiper motor packed in, so while I changed it I had to remove and refit the trim panel along the boot.

Its not squeeking and rattling like a BARSTEWARD!

Anyone else had this problem? Any ideas how to cure it cos its doing my friggin nut in! Would new metal clips be the key as mine may have been "stressed" when they were removed? Grr, so annoying!

funny you should say this,

i fitted LED bulbs in the rear indicators of the mk4 beeza yesterday, then noticed a "squeek" from the rear

most annoyed, coz the bulbs look real good!!!

Its actually THE most annoying sound in the world. But I shall fix it..somehow...a lil help here people?!

Mine rattles and sweeks aswell lol, this is gettin silly now Iv had it for ages now tho so it doesnt really bother me just would be nice if it went..

I have taken my trim panel off probably about ten times and it still doesn't squeak. And I have the original metal clips. Just make sure that all clips go into their holes. I have noticed couple of times that some clips can move that much that they go next to the holes. And I would think that can cause the panel rattle nicely when the right clip isn’t where it’s supposed to be. Can’t think of anything else.
