Hi there

I have a Cupra ST and I find when the retractable boot cover is in its extended position (i.e. covering the boot) it makes a rather horrible rattle over the slightest of bumps in the road. Is this "normal" based on the design, or is mine just a bit faulty? It's fine when I leave it retracted it's just for obvious reasons I sometimes want it extended.

Mine is an FR ST and never had any rattle from the load cover? I always leave it extended

Yeah mine does the same thing. Just had to live with it. Or turn the radio up.

After some poking around, I suspect it might be the mechanism that the load cover locks into, rather than the load cover itself. I'll try wedging some stuff to stop it being able to move too much. If that works, I might look to neater solution. I don't mind the odd rattle over a pot hole, which I find understandable, but I shouldn't be able to hear a rattle on the motorway.
