But IF APR was producing similar figures to what Revo were extracting then I think they'd be potentially taking sale's away from their stg3 kit using the GT28 which is quite expensive.

APR also say that a K04 suffers from compressor surge and that they limit their software around this. Hence lower figures acheived.

agreed. Its not as if revo have some magical technology or know how to make them a cut above everyone else. They just have a different take on how the car should drive, but nothing that should yield 30hp extra over a apr map!

ive always thought REVO was the better of the two IMO, however it aint 30Hp better, and im with you guys in that the there is some deliberate advertisement going on, which i dont believe.

as Airin@APR has said on the GTI forum. Awesome could have quite easily chosen the worst performing APR run, and then overlaid the highest performing REVO run. We've all been to RR days where the 1st runs are slightly underpar as they set up the rollers

Had an AR50 with a rebored AR80 engine when i was 16. After I got knocked off by a blind Fiesta driver the engine went into a friends 50cc moped mayhem bike . . . . . but thats another story.

Am in the process of choosing STG 2+ software for mine at the moment but am swaying towards REVO. Each of the reputable software choices has its own benefits depending on what you want from your car. Each has benefits and pitfalls. The only pitfall for me from REVO is the price. £599 plus vat is a lot for 1 map. Luckily the nearest REVO dealer is not vat registered
