Stage 2 with downpipe only?

I've read conflicting info on this so wanted to get direct opinions. Can you go to stage 2 on the TFSI (BWA in this case) with just intake, for example the Twintake, and high flow downpipe? Or, do you need the full TBE? Most tuners seem keen to sell you the full TBE.

TBE is pointless, except for sound. You can Go stg 2 with ONLY a DP. This is true for an LC, should be the same on a K03

yeah the silencer isnt needed you can hacep dp sports cat non res center section then get reducer onto standard box

this is what i am planning to do... get a downpipe and sports cat keeping original exhaust...

I have had the middle silencer removed anyway for improved sound...

How's the build quality?

Would love to go decat for cost if nothing else but how's the decat work come MOT time? Swap it off/on or find a friendly station?

Build quality is spot on.

I'll try and make a sound clip if I get 5 min.

I have a 2008 2.0TFSI, no upgrades yet done. i ordered a downpipe plus muffler.
will i get any engine check issues ? the downpipe and the other part of the point both have sensors.
do i really need a software. the mecanic said that i will get engine check issues. and my car might loose power.
my car might start running rich and a whole bunch of stuff.
