also running my brakes, seats, clutch, flywheel. he spent about £6000 iirc

yea he said did I know you when speaking with him.
manifold was interesting to see, but on the day it had already cracked its pipe on tyhe collector (pipe cracked not a weld)

in a 4wd car it would be mental.. in 2wd it will be frustrating I think

Hello all,
I am considering going for a stand alone ecu now, so I was wondering does anyone know what cable throttle body I can use and fit on the RMR manifold?

Thanks

I've been looking at the Emerald. Which ones are you considering?

Not too sure yet!
Are you thinking about the emerald m3d?

I would love to go for motec or dta but I dont think im going to spend that much...

I think we are struggling to map my car with the standard ecu, it seems to keep leaning out.. hopefully its something simple!

you able to measure fuel pressure under boost?
& logging block 031 etc?

How does your car behave when it leans out as Im have the same bother.

yeah on the live mapping page it reports inj duty cycle , it doesnt really alarm but it turns red at 85% I think

are you anywhere near the limit on duty cycles?
is fuel pressure able to be logged during this to look for drop off?

not max'd on duty cycle then, but on the upper edge of injector size..
I would suspect fuel pressure is sliding away.
you can get a manual gauge to check to confirm under load if the pressure is not being held.

3bar + boost pressure for example.

mine ran a manual gauge on my FPR before I plugged in my eletrical sender unit into it for the DTA to it.

Fitted a walbro 270 lph pump this aft and all up an running ok so will have go and find a quite bit of road tomorrow and do a bit of testing.

I installed it just after the intank pump. Is this the best place for it or would it have been better nearer the engine ?

Just thinking last night, these problems only seem tp be happening when I run a very small ( in length) un silenced exhaust. Everytime I go out to to a test on the road the silencer goes on which increases the length by about 1m all seems to be ok. Is that just coinsidence ? I cant see it making that much difference, can it ?

might be relevant.. but do you think the silencer is restrictive?
what sort of bore is it vs the main pipe?

No I dont think it that restrictive just rmove it to save a little weight and I thought that a turbo car would benifit from having a very short unsilenced pipe.

All the exhaust and silencer in 3"
