How do you know if your calipers are sticking? What are the signs? Should there the car pull to one side under braking?
While driving last night I got a weird screech that kept disappearing when I braked.

If your calipers are sticking your car will pull as the brake is effectivly applied all the time, a good way to check is to take it out and really hammer your brakes, then feel your wheels... if youve got a stuck caliper your wheel will be red hot, i dont just mean warm, that is normal, I mean mega hot!, so you cant hold your hand on it, its a pretty good indicator that something aint right.

Ok I've done the wheel temp test and I think the drivers side caliper is sticking. So I'm going to take the sliding pins off, give them a clean and see if that helps. Otherwise I'm guessing i'll have to replace the caliper?
When I do remove the pins do I use locktight before I put them back on?
Cheers
