Sticking Throttle ?

my throttle seems to stick open everynow and then, this normally happens in 1st or 2nd gear when i floor it for couple of seconds and let off the revs carry on rising then all of asudden they drop of again. nearly put it into sum railings earlier when i pulled out on round about. car has only done 26k and most of engine is new. any ideas what would cause this

Mine does the same, it like over rev`s in 1st and 2nd gear when booted!!

yeah scares the sh*t out of you when if happens, it feels like someone has stepped on throttle when you've lifted off.

Its odd, in 3rd upwards it pulls fine and as soon as you let off when booting it and press the clutch all is well but in the bottom 2 gears when you plant your foot then let off and press the clutch its like i`ve still got my foot on the gas!!

yeah but most of the time with mine as soon as i press the clutch the rev's drop straight away. can't work it out.

mine does this too.. usuualy higher up the revs in 1st or 2nd ..scares the **** out of ya!..n the the revs come down really slow!

Over boosting is mint really good fun, cuz u know u hav let off but still the beast aint tamed
