sticky stuff removal

hi all anybody got any experience with the glue that's used for sticking down wrap on the edges of the vinyl and more importantly how to remove the stuff from my paintwork already tried tar remover and the usual other suspects?

I always use Lighter Fuel(petrol type) and then re-wax afterwards

TFR (tar and glue) remover with the help of a flat stanley blade all the valeters at my work use this to desticker or take vinyl off company vans. I would personal take it to some good valeters.

Heat from kettle or a hairdryer can be effective with some of these glues.

I dont like exposing painted plastic to heat like that. I've had a bad experience.

Last night I used Tardis to remove the backing pads used to hold on number plates. Easiest way by far.
Spray on, leave it, agetate and spray again, come back and wipe off. Second pass to remove any glue seidue and then buff off product once dry. Also leaves a nice clean prep'd surface for the new pads
