Stonechip protection pack

went into dealers today to order some bits for the arrival of my new fr, in the seat accessories pricelist they have a full stonechip protection pack, £94, sounds like a good idea, i assume it is a clear plastic stick on kit (i had some on the rear lower wheel arches on my rs focus,factory fitted). Anyone had them fitted? where do they go? is the leon vunrable to stonechips?

yep they are bad for stone chips i am goig to take mine back to the dealer because my paint seems really thin.

Yeah mines covered in stone chips. (just comming up to 50,000 miles now)

Spoke to the dealer about getting Seat in to look at the paint, but they said Seat will never do it.

If I was buying another, I'd definatly look at one of those kits.

SEAT site says the Stonechip kit doesnt work for the FR, that still correct as I would love some when I get mine?

Hi guys, will deffo be having my new fr done having it already fitted to my ibiza cupra, spec if you do lots of mway driving it really does protect the prone areas. The chap doing my fr is doing a bespoke fit for me, as he covering all the bonnet area to as all the kits out there only go up max 24 inches from leading edge of front.

Can you keep us updated please, as i will definatley go for this on my new Cupra, my current TFSI has suffered from alot due to the number of motorway miles i'm doing.

Hi rob, yes no prob will keep posted once i get my fr and have it fitted. The kit for the car consists of all front bumper, bonnet ,side of wings, head lights, fog lights, and top section of rear bumper, so well worth protecting our pride and joy!!!!!!

Hi, rob yes going for candy must admit normally i always go for silver as i think it quite a safe colour all round, but do think the white does look a bit special think a lot of modern cars now really suit the colour,was gonna go for the cupra but cos of the ol liquid stuff i having the 170! does go superb tho as at the mo i got the ibiza cupra tdi that on motorway is fantastic to! Did you say you got delivery time yet?

Which dealer you using?? and how much is he charging to do the bespoke
