Strange noise LCR

A friend of mine at work has a 53 plate LCR which has a problem. its making a strange noise.

its not great quality recorded on my mobile.

He says he hasn't noticed any lack of power. running OK apart from the noise.

Any ideas?

thats just the poor quality. i would say it sounds like an electric r/c car that kinda high pitch electric motor sound
