Subwoofer installation

Hi,

I’m looking to install an under the seat subwoofer but not sure on how to wire it. Does anyone know how I would be able to get behind the screen to wire it up? Thanks!

It comes up on threads and on other boards. The Infotainment systems aren't like your domestic hifi systems. They feed each speaker, mid range, tweeter etc with its own signal. The crossover is electronic in the infotainment unit thus the frequencies are filtered out there. If it's really Seat seat sound system or subwoofer and needs the special port for that @East Yorkshire Retrofits in the past have said the units need special coding to enable it, not your normal VCDS / Obdeleven coding. Vag mothership needs to be involved.

Some people slap a sub woofer amplifier on them hoping for the best that the existing mid range has the sub information. You see these in projects.
