wasn't sure on the year so i guessesd a 98 W chassis

looks universal across modesl but is fabric folding roof specific due to the length etc though so be careful

pt/no 6N0 959 731

Arosa 97-03
cordoba 97-02
ibiza 97-02
vario 97-02

Dude, thanks you're a legend!! Wow, its not cheap is it!! On ebay there, it says its for a mark 4 polo, and thats not on ur list. Does that matter? Prob not. Il maybe have to hold off on that one for a while though!! :D And you were close enough, its 1999!! :p

gonna sound daft here mind (as i'm thinking of how many times you use it) be worth bolting in a manual roof gearbox bit and using a handle instead ?

be easier to find and cheaper, might even be able to use a manual style console part etc

Nice im not the only person with the light blue ibiza air in the world. How the heck did you get the car without the sunroof motor is very unusual lol. A mk4 motor i think will just fit in nicely since they made the mk4 with the fabric sunroofs as well also i think same size too.

The only problem is that the sunroofs dont work during winter.

Yeah, thats true. Don't think that its worth buying though, the car only cost £500!! I wonder would a local scrapyard have one cheaper!
The person who sold it said they had disconnected the wire. They didn't say they'd removed the motor!!
