The panoramic sunroof, appears in the photos to meet the windscreen, now is the leading edge much like a vauxhall astra? like in that advert? A full length of glass? Or is it like a dummy piece of dark glass/painted?? Any close up pics would be great in or out:)

Thanks John

Its a normal sun roof with a mock glass/plastic covering. It looks panoramic but it isn't. Waste of money IMO.

yeah but it's still great to have a sunroof and it's got quite useful on those sunny english days! :D

I have the facelift with an electric sunroof and it's very good, although at higher speeds it drones a bit and you can't have it fully open.

Yeah the benefits of a sun roof are but to make it look like and sell it as a "Panoramic" when it's quite clearly not when you’re inside the vehicle is false advertising IMO.

If I ticked that option and got a normal sunroof I’d be pretty peeved. I'd be expecting something like you get on the Civic etc.

Panoramic in my view is like the vauxhall astra, it is "big and meets the screen" or is a double length glass. Not as mentioned above a fake piece of glass.
That said, I don`t want it to be like Astra`s, So its good news for me:D,
I may consider it as an option.
Just waiting on news on the Fr tdi in 5 door, pricing etc. Otherwise it will be the 1.6 cr sport with many options:whistle:

Never been a fan of sun roof's, however I do like the black effect. If I get one I may be a cheap skate and do the whole roof in black vinyl wrap :D

"The new Ibiza can be equipped with a panoramic sunroof that covers the entire width of the roof, from the windscreen to beyond the B pillar. It is 130% larger than on the previous Ibiza, with a solid frame around the glass. Its dimensions let in 78% more light than on the former model. The sunroof has is controlled by a switch on the dashboard and also has a manual window blind to regulate the amount of light entering the passenger compartment."

I have some interior pics that make it look just like a normal sunroof. Possible a little larger but it doesn't meet the windscreen. I'll dig them out on monday for you.
