Suspension Knock

no mate i havent, ive taken it to two different garages both say that it cannot be suspension related as everything is solid the second garage said that its the inner steering rack has gone, which i really hope not, then i thought that this was not happening to the car about a month ago which is when i had my timing belt done in SERE SEAT in belfast so its goin back to them tomorrow afternoon so that they can recheck their work and hopefully diagnose this problem because if not then im selling the car. Ive had to citreon C4's and never had half as much trouble as i have with this car.

the slight knock i can live with but its the steering knock that bothers me... but it doesnt knock when the cars moving??? only when stationary & i turn left to right

I have the same problem...
I did change new shocks, topmounts, dog-bones for the arb, subframe bolts...
Knock is still there when stationary and turn steering wheel sharply left to right or vice versa...
No loose or play in the joints, so, i do believe that it is the steering gear...

My car is 2007 70.000km driven and that freaking noise has been there for a year / since 60.000km...it does not go under GW, even though that kind of part should last much much longer...so i need so suck it up and replace it from my own when it does get worse.

I have felt for some vibrations when driving, but its not constant, so i´m thinking that it might come from poor road surface or those freakin Falken tires that i have.

Let me know when you get yours sorted out.

Same here had nowt but trouble im getting my original springs put back
on tomorrow al let you know.how I get on. One garage says steering rack t other says springs.
