Because it's still the Golf 4 platform, and the Golf came in diesel and 'VR' form, there's plenty for the heavier cars. In fact, I'm fairly sure that in some conversations I did find out that some coilovers suggested for diesel cars are actually the same as they are on the petrol version, as the springs are designed to take the additional weight. Certainly some of the part numbers I was finding for my Toledo V5 were the same as fitted to the lighter Leons.

DPM Performance are the guys to speak to, the one chap must live, breathe and eat coilovers for the amount of suspension knowledge he has! :)

lol, sounds like the man to speek to then.

cheers for the reply mate, just dont want to get the wrong thing and it wont fit.

It's pretty much a certainty that they'll physically fit whatever you go for! It's only the spring weights that will change if anything.

The only difference in all the suspension kits I saw was the mounting for the ARB, which is different for LC/LCR in some way.

i was more thinking if id need to get a new front /rear antiroll bars due to the car sitting lower and differently.

I don't believe so, and I think you have to drop it a fair bit before the front ARB is affected. You have no rear ARB so don't worry about that.
