went to the car today, put it back together,
im really happy its all 1 colour now, looks mental but we need to do the roof and bonnet again due to the air line miss hap, we thought last night we would be able to sort it but the bits went a little past where we thought but its ok, just means it will be minter than it is...

paint is looking better and better every time i spend a bit of time on it, i did the prep work, my bro in law chucked the paint on and im doing the finishing work on it, i have a few bits that need taking out of it, little runs and bubbles etc but im really happy with it, more so when i see the yellow cupra come past me that lives a few mile from me as mine used to look worse, and his is bad!!!

its been a bargain hunt day again for me today!!

also im getting a bit anoyed with my tip, it keeps poppin off...so after a chat with the bro in law im going to make my own tip, more to come but i've ordered 95% of what i need and spent less that £30, just need a few little alloy tubes to make the little connecter pipes... cant wait now as i hope to have it all finished and fitted at the same time along with a set of springs...
so... thats a respray, a custom TIP, a FMIC KIT AND a shead load of carbon wrap for LESS than the cheapest respray i was quoted....HAPPY DAYS

i just though that i would do a full update on the respray just to close it off
i managed to get a huge discount on the paint etc, i bought signal yellow but was sent some thing like sulphate yellow, we didnt know what it was going to look like untill it was on the car and i think its a good colour my self, when i boutgh iy i asked the guy for it to be as close to the gloss yellow MG used

yes my grill surround is silver again, all the shat from the prep work got on it and it wouldnt come off, i will prob do it again but will see

also, i hit a mile stone yesterday, i had to stop and take a pic!!! and it still runs

and a follow on, on whats to come
as iv already listed a bit but will do it again as i use it as a to do list lol
all of the below will be done asap and i hope for it to be completed by mid july- start of august...

custome made tip
lowering springs
tinted windows
gloss black rims
gloss black grills
gloss black rear bumper insert
AND complete the "finishing" of thw paint work...
on top of being a dad of 2 lol oh yea, i love a chalange.... it will all be done, i will prob have to move back to my dads and will be alone again, but the car will be done and i should be able to see the kids at weekends LOL - thankfully the mrs is mostly on my side with the car, as long as i get her a gift now and again
so far she has had a HTC HD mini, and ANDROID pad and now a HTC wild fire due the the HD messing up and a £200 shopping spree and she wants some new trainers next week, yet apparntly i spend all my cash on the car LOL hao and she is 29...
