basicly whats happend is the 90 degree pipe on the "hot side" of the fmic had a split in it, that was what my boost leake was, i had swapped it for one of the OEM pipes but was a 45 and not a 90, i re jigged all the pipe work and made it fit,
Sam your bang on...
the bodge repair had blown apart at the joiner, lost the clamp too so...
i didnt have a replacment at hand but will be getting one soon (waiting for it to arive - big thank you Sam)
so i went to where she broke down armed with the split 90 some rubber tape stuff and some elec tape wrapped the shite out of it, a place opersit where she broke down gave me a clamp (very good of them) then i managed to limp it back home
i just hope there is no damage to any thing else, i know that there shouldnt be but you know what theses cars are like

also i found out how "jo public" react to these situations....
1 - bonnet up, tools all over the place, car jacked up and me covered in oil and shat...
bloke walks over, leans over and says..."car trouble?" im not in the best of moods at this stage and reply no mate just had **** all to do for bit....
he giggled and stagered off

2 - a group of kids walking past all stop and look at me leaning over the car and say to each other - he has nice pants
LMFAO - it actually chered me up lol

*EDIT*
i have just noticed it seem to look as if its diffrent yellows in the pics, the lowered pic i took about 5 mins ago on my phone, its 9:45pm all the other pics ar mostly in the normal day light and with my camara...
and not for my car but my mate liked my carbon wrapping a lot, so he got me to do the kidney grills for his M3, i was hacked off with the results as they came out better than any bit i have done on mine lol

matt blacking the splitter/?? i hope not

mate the car made me twitch a little this morning on the way to work (unlike me to drive to be fair), i blipped it in second to get round a parked car before a bus came the other way, got passed the car looked at speedo as i went to pop it in to 3rd and i had hit 59-60 mph, i shat a brick, its a 20mph limit LOL its asif i had all the probs and in the time of the probs the car was setting its self up with the cooller, then i sorted the issues and the car rewarded me with horses LOL (thats how my car works you see)

I want my car to work like that! I had a moment like that but on an private airstrip... When I looked down the speedo had passed the 140 mark.

Meanwhile the splitter has changed, all carbon wasn't tying in with the gloss black so now changed it to tie in, don't worry still has the carbon on show but I prefer this look.

The matt black is vinyl I'll be doing my door pillars in, maybe the badge surround, just gonna tidy up areas with the vinyl

i went down a um private airstrip once in in mine,
first fastest was an M3 E46, de limited and it had spent a week with the BMW "trainees" at mini, 178mph frightened the shat out of me as it was a rag top too lol
second was 165 in a evo 8, that belonged to the M3 owners brother (he said he wont max it out though so dont know what it would have done), it was quicker than the m3 to about 130 then the M3 took off to another level of power...
then my little 1.8 leon is the 3rd fastest car i have been in lol 157, its a bit twitchy at that pace though lol

well, i havent updated for a while now, and to be honest not a lot has gone on really, after thinking i was over the coilpack issue i had at the start of the year i managed to blow 2 coilpacks in 2 days just a couple of weeks ago, didnt find out why they went but have replaced them with a set of 4 red and black bremi ones along with also have 4 spares and 3 normal ones.
i have replaced the upper charge pipes with sillycunt ones along with a few vac pipes again
i have had to change the Bat and the clutch went, all in the space of 2 month HAPPY DAYS lol

after all the time, money and effort i have put in to the car, today i took the plunge, some of you will know i have been thinking about selling it for a while now.... well today i took it for a part ex and came away with a 2004 MK5 golf GT-TDI - rite or rong?? i dont know but its saved me £12 a month on insurace and they said they owed me another £36 after the admin fee, also i drove it back from windsor to oxford on quater of a tank and i still nearly all of it left, and im finding all sorts of mental little tricks like the cold air nozel in the armrest cubby hole that keeps your can of drink cold lol and lighting that lights the ground when i unlock the car....
i was sad when i drove away, i really tried not to look back at it when i left, sad really as it feels like i just have a normal car now, and i spose i do, but its done now....a sad but happy day
