hello all.
just wondering if anybody has tried out this downpipe thats very cheap. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-IBIZ...Car+Make:Seat|Model:Ibiza&hash=item53f63a8320

im wondering if its any good for the price or piss poor.
when you do a fitment check on the provided checker it says it fits the 100hp and 130hp it says it doesnt fit the 160 but i thought the 130 and 160 were the same fitment not sure if the 100hp is the same fitment though.

may send a message to the seller to see if its 2.5" diameter.
thoughts anyone?

Mates father has one on his cupra said fitment and installation was easy. Car has more throttle response. Cheap mod I would recommend doing myself.

Double check with seller but when I enquired this system only works with standard bore exhausts.

What he means is he cut out his cat and welded a straight through pipe in its place. So instead of buying a decat pipe for £80 he used his standard pipe.

from what i can tell this isnt a large bore down pipe from what has been said in this thread which is a shame i could quite easily cut the cat out and weld a straight pipe in its place which is pretty much what the ebay downpipe is only more shiney.

Be careful as under VOSA new MOT guidelines any downpipe that has been cut or rewelded is a fail now.
Its to stop DPF removal
