Teardrop wipe query

My car (2015 FR) used to do the teardrop wipe after screenwash on the front and the rear. Recently it only seems to be doing it on the rear - when I spray the washers now the front only does 3 wipes, then stops.

Any suggestions as to why this might be?

I believe when the temp drops and the ice symbol appears the tear drop function is disabled.. This happens on mine...

I also get front wiper teardrop wipe function stopping in colder temps.
