That would be like having frying pans for wheels :) cool!

I don't think you can powder coat plastic due to the process. AFAIK it uses an electrical charge to attract the paint to the metal and then maybe it is baked?

You could always spray the centres though...

oh loads of places do powder coating. It's not a specialist thing really.

I ride DH bikes and have had a couple of them powder coated. Strong finish and costs about £40-70 a bike depending on colour and finish.

I'm sure most spray painters have the necessary equipment:

Not sure how good they are but are quite cheap!

cheers looks like i might have to save up and find some metal porsche centres lol. if i got my bonnet done 2 think it would look cool (and ideal for bacon on a cold day :) )

iv found a place that can do teflon and now have metal centres on my alloys but cant decide what to do. powder coat paint or teflon. teflon would be black and the other 2 prob anthricite

Where can do the teflon and how much is it?

Only thing with paint is they chip really easily and then look crap so it may be the cheapest but they wont last as long. Powder coating is much better but teflon will be even stronger than the powder coating.

its a place in hertford but also do it in sheffield they said minimum order is £150 but could do it for £25 a wheel if "the lads" do it in there lunch break. unfortunatly they cannot refurb the alloys so i will have to get that done elsewhere but have found i can get all 5 of my d90s chemically stripped and refurbed but not finished for £105 then get the teflon done. oh and there are 2 colours available for the teflon, black or silver semi gloss.
