TFSI dump valve

Hi all only just joined the site and have posted a thread in the intro section. Hi any way.

Has anyone fitted a dump valve to there TFSI and if they have which one.

Im getting excited now only a few weeks till FR TFSI is delivered.

what do you mean by dump valve? a blow off valve or diverter valve or?

The turbo works differently on the 2.0T as opposed to the 1.8T as the diverter valve is situation on the side of the turbo.

No problem Peter, just noticed this line :

Please note: This valve fits the turbocharger mounted solenoid valves and not the latest 2007 remote mounted solenoid valves.

Would this affect all new 2007 models? example FR & Cupra 2.0TFSI

Guy up the road from me has one fitted to his MK5 Golf GTI, he is thinking of taking it off, it doesnt really sound right.

Each to their own though, if thats your thing. His is the Forge btw.
