Hi All,
I just wanted to see what peoples opions are of what they believe to be the best time / revs ... etc to change gear for both petrol and diesel cars.

for normal id change before the turbo spools, which saves petrol, around 2k rpm

if going full throttle, before remap i change at 6.5k revs. after remap i change at 7.5k revs.

this is on a lcr

petrol. i should change gear b4 the turbo spools up but i do like to hear the dumpvalve. i no how sad am i lol.

Best as in fastest or best as in MPG wise?
For fast then my peak figures are @ 5800 RPM so about here
For MPG I can get 42.5 MPG average over a full tank of fuel by changing @3,000 RPM with very little acceleration and sticking about 55-60 MPH
